Čiovo is connected with the city Trogir by bridge. When you reach Trogir, you have to cross the first bridge to reach the old town, and then, after crossing the second bridge (connects the island Čiovo and old town), you are on Čiovo. The fastest and the simplest way to reach Trogir by car is to take the highway A1 (direction Zagreb – Split). The journey lasts about 3 and half hours in case if there are no traffic jams. The highway exit Prgomet is only a couple of kilometers from Trogir. The bus station in Split is connected with most of European countries as e.g. Germany, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Netherlands, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina etc. Regular buses operate every 30 minutes in direction Split – Trogir. Trogir is only 5 kilometers away from the international airport Resnik . To reach Trogir, you can take a taxi or bus at the airport. The Port is 25 kilometers away, in the city Split. Split is connected with Italy and all the surrounding islands such as Hvar, Brač and Šolta by ferry lines. |
